Teacher Passes Away in ‘Bread, Love and Dreams’    --  A legendary baker and teacher spent the last moments of his life with his favorite student in “Bread, Love and Dreams.”  In the episode #23, teacher Pal Bong (Jang Hang-seon), who has been sick in bed, wakes up Kim Tak-gu (Yoon Si-yoon) late at night and takes him to a baking room.  Making bread together with Tak-gu, Pal Bong says, “Life is about going through. You go through good things and bad things and happy moments and sad moments.  Ma-jun is your brother. You have to accept him as part of your life,” revealing that he has known the relationship between Tak-gu and Gu Ma-jun (Ju Won) from the beginning.  Pal Bong continues, “The only regret I have is to lose my only and best friend. That was why I stopped making my specialty,” referring to bread made without using yeast. “There’s nothing more important than cherishing people around you,” he adds. Pal Bong later smiles and breathes his last breath, saying in a monologue, “Life is like flowers in a field. It leaves no traces when it comes to end, like flowers are gone in an instant. But I was very happy to meet you towards the end of my life.”  Noticing that Pal Bong has passed away when he brings the baked bread to him later, Tak-gu only holds his teacher's hands and weeps.
